Juvenile Diabetes:"Walk for a Cure"

We are happy to announce that On-Site Health Solutions is joining the fight against diabetes by forming a team to participate in the 2010 Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s Walk to Cure Diabetes.  This year's Walk takes place on Sunday, September 19 at beautiful Beutter Park in Mishawaka, and the collective goal is to raise $400,000.00 for this great cause.  Many advances to cure Juvenile, or Type 1, Diabetes have recently been made.  For example, individuals with this disease can now use a Continual Glucose Monitor to check their blood sugar without having to obtain a blood sample for each test.  New treatments like this would not have been possible without funding from organizations like the JDRF, and there is more work left to do. - We invite you and your employees to be on our team in the 5K “Walk for a Cure”.  We encourage each individual walker to provide a $100.00 donation or to collect $100.00 in sponsorship contributions.  

- You can purchase paper “Sneakers” for your employees for $1.00 each.

- For a donation of $200.00, your corporation will have its logo placed on our On-Site  Health Solutions team shirts that will be worn during the walk, which last year had over 2,000  participants.  

- We are also accepting flat donations that will help fund our donation to the JDRF.  Check donations are payable to JDRF, and can be mailed to us at 65140 Miami Road, Bremen, IN, 46506.
